SHORTBREAKS

3 or 4 night shortbreaks are available. With some of our cottages, shortbreaks can be booked at any time of the year (excluding Christmas and New Year) whilst other cottages can only be booked for a shortbreak outside peak holiday dates or at the last minute.

Computers and booking systems are not always capable of allowing you to book your exact requirements. We therefore recommend that you telephone or email us if our booking system does not give you a perfect match to your request. We will do our very best to try to meet your requirements.

Shortbreaks are always subject to availability.

ACCOMMODATION
 
All of our cottages are fully equipped and exceed the recommendations of the Scottish Tourist Board. If you would like full details of what equipment is supplied, please do not hesitate to ask.
 
Each of our cottages state the number of people they cater for in the description. If a cot is requested, then a baby will be allowed in addition to the normal number of persons permitted in the cottage. Guests are welcome but the maximum capacity may not be exceeded overnight.
 
GAS, COAL, OIL AND ELECTRICITY
 
Gas, oil and electricity are included in the hire charge. Coal is also available in Dell Cottage but at an additional charge.
 
LINEN
 
Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided in all of our cottages. All bedding is polyester. We do not supply bedding for cots.
 
TRAVEL COT AND HIGH CHAIR
 
These are available if required but should be requested when making your booking.
 
BREAKAGES AND DAMAGES
 
With love and affection, we have furnished our cottages. We hope that in turn you will treat them with t.l.c! Even so, accidents do happen and any breakages or damages that occur during your stay must be paid for.
 
PETS
 
Sorry, pets are not permitted at any of our cottages.
 
BOATS AND JET SKIS
 
It is possible to bring your boat or jet ski, please contact us for further details regarding storage and launching prior to or when making your reservation.

TELEPHONES/COMPUTERS

Telephone (and data port connections) are available in all of our cottages. Calls are chargeable by way of debit or credit card at time of call.

A computer is supplied in Dell Cottage and is included in the hire charge. A laptop computer can be pre-booked for use in Millburn Cottages but is chargeable (a deposit is also required).
 
SPECIAL REQUESTS
 
If you have any special requests, please let us know. We will make every reasonable effort to meet your requirements.
 
HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION
 
Please contact us to check availability and to make a provisional booking. You must then forward your booking form and deposit (the full balance if within 6 weeks of the holiday start date) to us. We normally hold a provisional booking for a maximum of 7 days. All cheques should be made payable to INVERBEG HOLIDAYS. A security deposit may be required (you will be advised when booking). All bookings are accepted at our discretion. By making a reservation you agree to abide by the booking conditions.
 
You may also make a reservation on line using our secure website. Please note that when making a reservation on line, a booking is not confirmed until payment has been taken in full and the reservation confirmed by Loch Lomond Hideaways.
 
ONCE YOU HAVE MADE A BOOKING
 
On receipt of your booking form and deposit/payment, we will forward your confirmation. Your confirmation will advise you of the balance due and when it must be paid by (which is 6 weeks prior to the holiday commencing). No reminders are sent. If your balance is not received, we reserve the right to re-let the cottage without further notice to you. Your deposit is forfeited.

IF YOU WISH TO CANCEL
 
Your booking is a binding contract with us. If you wish to cancel your holiday after the booking has been made, this must be done so in writing to us. We strongly recommend cancellation insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances as no refunds are given (details enclosed).
 
ON YOUR ARRIVAL
 
Our cottages will normally be available at 4 p.m. We ask you to contact us prior to your arrival about obtaining the keys. When you take over one of our cottages, you accept it and the equipment as being undamaged and in good working order unless reported to us within 24 hours.
 
PARKING
 
There is private parking for a minimum of 2 cars at each of our cottages.
 
ON YOUR DEPARTURE
 
You must vacate your cottage by 10 a.m. on the day of your departure. It is your responsibility to leave the cottage clean and tidy. All breakage's and damages must be paid for. An inspection may be carried out prior to your departure. If this is not possible, any damages will be recorded and an invoice forwarded to you for settlement.
 
SHORTCOMINGS
 
We make every effort to ensure that your stay is perfect. Although we try our best, we are not always perfect ourselves! Any problems which may occur must be reported to us immediately so they can be rectified speedily. Unless advised of a problem, we cannot resolve it, therefore no claims can be considered at a latter date. All accidents, however minor must be reported to us immediately.
 
IF WE WISH TO CANCEL
 
We reserve the right to cancel the hire without any liability if in our opinion you are not suitable to take charge of the accommodation. We also reserve the right to terminate the hire if in our opinion
there are grounds which would include damage to accommodation, vandalism, unreasonable or antisocial behaviour, failing to abide by our terms and conditions or exceeding the permitted number of occupants. Such cancellation or termination is without prejudice to any legal steps which we as Owners consider necessary to protect our interests. No refunds will be given.
