Luss village itself is an
absolute ‘picture postcard’. Stroll through the
village past charming little cottages decorated with
overflowing window boxes and colourful baskets of
flowers. |

|
|
Walk along the beach on the
shores of Loch Lomond and maybe even have a swim in
the crystal clear waters. If you want to explore the
water without getting your feet wet, then take a
cruise around the islands of the loch from the pier. |

A handful of little shops and
coffee houses are scattered around the village and
for those of you wishing to partake of fine wines
and food, the ‘Lodge on the Loch’ is well
recommended for lunch or dinner. |

Nearby towns of Helensburgh and Balloch offer a full range of shops and restaurants.
At Balloch, the newly open Lomond Shores is a must
to start your stay on the loch side, giving you a
superb insight into Loch Lomond and its surrounds.
If you want to go further afield and plan to explore
the Highlands, Argyll and the Trossachs, Luss is the
perfect location from which to do so. |

If you enjoy walking, you will be
inspired by the glens and sheer majesty of Ben
Lomond, the Cobbler and many others. Paths and
tracks are everywhere for the hiker and cyclist
alike. If you are a keen golfer, with Scotland being
the home of golf, where better to enjoy a game than
on one of the many local courses. For the fisherman,
Loch Lomond offers both coarse and game fishing. |

Whatever your needs, whether you
just want to chill out, explore this spectacular
country or conquer the Munros, there is no better
place to fulfil your hopes and dreams for a truly
wonderful holiday. |
