Loch Lomond Hideaway Cottages fantastic location allows you to partake in a wide range of activities and enjoy the spectacular scenery within the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park and the rest of Scotland.

 

With many things to do and see the whole family is sure to enjoy their stay on the banks of the UK’s largest body of fresh water. Edinburgh is just 1½ hours drive from the park and with Glasgow just 40 minutes away, experience city days out and return to the slower pace of Loch Lomond.

 

 

 

Loch Lomond plays host to a wide range of water sports: Water Skiing, Jet Skiing & Speed Boats. Cruises are available as are Speed Boat tours and Sea Plane trips, all available within minutes from Inverbeg.

 

Canoes, kayaks, motor boats, pedal boats and mountain bikes are all available for hire locally. Full instruction and safety equipment is provided.

Inverbeg Holiday Park also has it’s own boat mooring and jet ski launch facilities.

 

 

 

Take in the abundance of walks and climbs in the area. Walkers, climbers and ramblers will all have plenty to do. The West Highland Way & Ben Lomond, Scotland’s most Southerly Munro, are directly opposite the holiday park. With The ‘Arrochar Alps’ 10 minutes drive and the Central Highlands are also nearby - pack your camera!

 

Ben Nevis & Fort William can be driven in 1½ hours from the park. Seasonal skiing and snowboarding are available at Glencoe slopes, 45 minutes drive from Inverbeg.

Golfers are spoilt for choice with 4 municipal courses within an hours drive from the park. The newly finished Carrick is just 5 miles and offers views of Loch Lomond during play.

 

The famous Loch Lomond golf course (4 miles) plays host to The Scottish Open Championships in July and attracts the worlds best players.

If you wish to stay at the park during this championship please book very early!

With Course and Game fishing available directly on the Loch and Sea fishing in Loch Long just ½ an hours drive from the park, anglers have every opportunity they could wish for.

 

Salmon and Trout are regularly caught and can be witnessed jumping from the parks shores. Large Pike and Perch provide excellent sport.

Permits are available locally and boats can be hired daily from nearby Balloch or Balmaha on the east side of the loch.

Some of the most scenic and breathtaking roads in the country will give the sightseer endless opportunities for days out exploring this spectacular part of the world.

 

The West Coast of Scotland is littered with meandering roads, sea lochs, historical sights and places of interest. Turning right from the park along the A82 will take you through the heart of the Central Highlands via Glencoe and up to Ben Nevis. Voted best road in the UK by Top Gear, the A82, pictured on the right, just has to be driven...
